Last night was a night in Lexington that we will never forget! It was one of those nights and one of those moments where you just had to stand there and process that the scene around you was really happening! In case, you are not into basketball and aren't aware, the CATS beat the Louisville Cardinals in the NCAA Final Four last night! This game was not only huge in that it was the Final Four, but also because Louisville is a huge rival for a variety of reasons. We share the same state, their coach formerly coached for UK, and the rival history has much deeper roots. In Kentucky, you're either a Cards fan or a CATS fan but never both! Most are the latter ;)
We also got a ton of very flattering press about the way in which fans celebrated! While yes, in very isolated incidences there was some couch burning, a car may or may not have been flipped and lit on fire, and there may have been a little pepper spray action. Buuuutttt....for the most part it was peaceful celebrating!
See? :) The fun continues as we play tomorrow night against Kansas for the Championship!
Go CATS!
