be still my heart

We sucked every last second out of Easter weekend, arriving back to Lexington dark and early this morning at 1:30 a.m. We slumber partied, hunted glow-in-the-dark eggs, snuggled, grilled out, celebrated Jesus' resurrection and the birth of my sister: I could've just said birthday, but you see what I had going there :) We grilled out, hung out, and laid out. We baked and ate more than we shared. And we toasted to Easter with a big Diet Coke at midnight. (My sister gave them up for lent, brave soul she is!) Thank you God for this weekend! My heart needed it!

What a lovely backdrop of our church friends shopping the Easter bake sale.
Photograph obviously snapped by a male (i.e. Chase) Bless his heart!

Oh and yes , the Easter basket goodies were a hit :)

I have got to get my life and pictures together before I can do the weekend justice. Come on, it was Easter, our outfits coordinated, we did forced front porch family photos, you know we documented better than two pictures :)

I hope you all had a great Easter weekend!
