My short lived sorority experience was hellacious. I love the idea of a sorority and will absolutely promote that my daughters and nieces (should there be nieces, or daughters for that matter) rush, but for me it was nothing short of a nightmare for an abundance of reasons. However; not all was lost. Out of the disaster, I gained the most precious, life-long friend, I have ever known. We were instantly inseparable and bonded over our pre-mature aging and being lovers of all the same things. She is the vision of a friend and truly loves the ones I love. I am blessed to have her in my life and I do not know what I would do with her!
Here she is with my sweet boy the day after he was born!
Last summer I was honored to stand beside her in her wedding and this summer she delivered the exciting news that she was pregnant! I am SO excited! I am in baby heaven!
Look at that sweet thing!
Tonight, her and her husband, Brandon, are having their gender reveal party. Chase and I had plans to go out of town, but in my style (and luckily, Sanda's too) I thought no problem, i'll drive home drive back and we'll drive through the night, right? Chase then pointed out the amount of driving that would in fact be and the time at which that would put us getting to our destination. I have been sick all week trying to figure out how to make it work, including canceling our trip, but we agreed to face-time me in :( I could die to be missing it, but will be there in spirit. My missing the party will have a direct and positive correlation with the baby items I purchase on this trip.
Is this not the cutest invitation?
I think it's bows, but we shall see! I will be sending so much love from the car.
I am so excited for you, sweet friend! I can't wait to celebrate- and shop!
