High Five for Friday

Well, as much as I love high-fiving Friday, I waaasss going to go the confessional route with Leslie as a curve ball today! I had lots to confess and I was all ready this morning with my post, but she is loving on her Mom today and I totally support that! So I am high-fiving instead, it's probably better that way! Now you all won't have to judge me on my confessions :) 


1. Gift Wrapping. It is sad the joy I get out of wrapping presents, it truly is. I may or may not have went to Target twice to gather appropriate supplies and to get Chase an ICEE. Half cherry, half blue raspberry? Weird.

2. Old Navy Tunics. This is isn't the color I am lusting, for whatever reason it is not online, but you get the idea! They say beach tunic, I say just tunic. I would totally wear it with some leggings and sandals or even without leggings. It is longer on me, being my legs do not resemble this chica's whatsoever. I was in ON to get some sandals for my mom, not for myself, so I left it behind. BUT then I just got a $5 coupon in the mail, so now it's totally justifiable, right?

3. Scandal. Like we need another show obsession, but ABC has tricked me by into moving into Private Practice's time slot. (Right after Grey's, brilliant strategy.) Anyway, it is the perfect mix of scandal, a high-powered woman, politics, and crime. Even Chase asked me to move out of the way of the TV last night, so I know he was into it too. It is almost over so we are going to go back and watch- you should too! It is sort of Lipstick Jungle-esque if any of you besides me watched that for its whopping 2 seasons!

4. High Five Mr. President. Whether you agree or disagree with his newly voiced political stance, you have to give the man credit for taking a stand, an often unpopular one. We were raised to stand up for what we felt was right even if it was not popular. That is something that is hard to do as a person, let alone as the freaking President in an election year. I am by no means, on Obama's campaign trail but he totally gets a high-five from me on this. 


5. Obviously the highlight of my week. Seriously, there is nowhere on this planet I would rather be. Wouldn't you kill for those lashes?

Do you all watch Grey's? Seriously, a plane crash? I thought the show was over and was barely paying attention and then a flipping plane crash? Seriously? Where were they even going? Now I have to re-watch! Stop screwing with Derek and Meredith. We love them so somebody better find McDreamy in one piece and quick. Zola needs a father and I can't handle Mer moping around again, Shonda!
