the southernmost point

Sometimes life freaks me out. Two years ago I didn't even know these girls existed and here I am on a weekend getaway with them and feel closer to them than some of my oldest friends! Wild, I tell you! We were totally meant to be and literally had the best time! It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. I could have stayed forever. We went left Lexington at 6:00 a.m. Friday morning (Chase took us to the airport at 4:30, can you say brownie points??) and we were in Key West by lunch! We stayed at the Casa Marina at the Waldorf Astoria. Don't even bother visiting Key West if you don't stay there! If you have ever stayed at an all-incusive resort, the service was very comparable, minus they all you can eat and drink. Well I guess you could technically have eaten and drank all you wanted ;)

Oh what's in his little basket you ask? Popsicles. Freaking popsicles. We could have made the Casa our forever home. The beach boys brought us (everyone on the beach) something every hour, everyday. The goodies included said popsicles, water, the drink-of-the-day, cold towels, cucumbers, sunglass cleaning, etc. I am trying to see if Chase can start providing some of these services when he comes over :)

Kate, Amanda, I (Kenzie flew in a day later)

We also went to a drag show. Casual, no big deal!

We met a group of moms on a girl's weekend and we vowed we would do the same,
even after husbands and babies! This was absolutley the first of many!
Where is your favorite place to vacation!?
