Momma needs some snacks.

We have a baby boy!
Davin Archer made his sweet debut last week, a week earlier than his scheduled due date. I was prepared to be packed for an early arrival, but I did not plan for that early! I flew home, grabbed whatever I could take to my car in one load and endured the longest drive of my entire life. He is just over 7 lbs and more perfect than I even had him dreamed in my mind. My aunt craziness has doubled!

The two things I couldn't leave without were the hospital baskets. I made such a basket for my sister and BIL when Deacon was born and again recently for my friend, Sanda. When a local store went out of business I snagged the a big market tote and a tiny one for Deacon and I have anxiously filled for weeks! It helps to pass the time, 9 months is forever!

Yes, Lindsey was thrilled with the door hanger, and flowers are a birthing bonus, but people want some freaking snacks! And some headbands and some girl scout cookies.

I had the best of intentions to complete these and take better pictures
than this lovely shot on the waiting room floor, but ya know.

The only thing worse than being holed up in hospital room with nurses in your business round the clock and a 13" TV has to be not having some serious snacks. And I mean serious. I'm not your girl for a home-cooked, post-delivery meal, but I can pack you a mean snack bag :)

Happy Monday!
