This fall has been cra-zy.
I feel like we have had something every weekend, which we love.
The weekend after Labor Day, we drove to Nashville to meet Chase's roommates from college for a weekend....I won't say getaway, maybe adventure?
White Water Rafting is not at the top of my weekend fun list. It's really not anywhere on that list, but it was such a great a time. We stayed in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. The weather was miserable and there was no cell phone service so all we had were each other and a hot tub. It was the best time essentially being trapped with nothing to do but talk to each other. Normally I would rather die than be in the exact scenario I am describing but it was seriously too much fun.
I typically love extra curricular of any activity way more than the activity itself which in this case was rafting. But again, so much fun. I have never laughed so much in my entire life.
The boys has so much fun which was the point since it was their trip and Kristen and I were tag-alongs who packed snacks, anyway :) It literally costed us nothing and the memories are priceless. We highly recommend it for a weekend the boys will love and the girls won't hate. I mean it absolutely beats the hunting of any animal or something awful like sleeping in a tent. Did I mention there was hot tub?
